Linton Counseling Services

The Counseling Program at Linton Elementary School is involved in the school in many ways:

  • Whole Class Lessons on topics such as Focusing Attention, Positive Problem-solving, Emotion Regulation, Friendship Skills, Building Empathy, Bullyproofing- and other topics tailored to classroom needs
  • One-to-one Counseling
  • Goal-focused Small Group Counseling
  • School-wide Programs- Lion Leaders (Upper grade students volunteer to run recess games for younger students- to teach Leadership skills)    
                                       PBIS/Linton Pride Programs                                    
                                       Linton Staff/Student Wellness Programs.
  • Family Support- connecting Linton families with needed Community Resources
