I'm very excited to meet, make art, and learn with the Linton Elementary School community. From 2014-2018, I subbed as an art teacher at PSD and taught preschool in Fort Collins. Since then, I've taught art class to elementary students in Aurora Public Schools. Linton Elementary artists can anticipate rigorous drawing and craft instruction balanced with choice driven experimentation. We will also practice literacy skills, like speaking and writing for solidifying content knowledge. I welcome all questions or exciting art class ideas students and families may have. A little bit more about me: I love music in addition to visual arts, hiking, camping, fictional stories, and animals. My pet dog is one of my best hiking buddies. I'm originally from upstate NY, but moved to Colorado for mountain adventuring and to be with my husband, Sean.
