Art

Art classes at Linton are focused on the Colorado state art standards as well as incorporating subject matter from social studies curriculum in order for students to understand art history. As students move through the grade levels they build upon previous learning in history, skills, and craftsmanship.   Students use a wide variety of art materials to create projects, such as clay, paint, pastels, and sculpture materials with an emphasis on unique creative ideas. In addition to the regular curriculum 5th and 4th grade students can also participate in an after school art club.
