Teaching Experience:
This will be my 12 year teaching and my first year in Poudre School District. I have previously taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and Reading and Math Intervention. My first 6 years I taught in Hayden, Colorado and the last 5 years I have taught in Fairfax, Virginia. I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Colorado Mesa University in 2006 and graduated with my Masters Degree in reading and math from Walden University in 2010. I am excited to start my role as a math interventionist at Linton.
Hobbies & Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 5 month old daughter Grace, and our family here in Colorado. I love to travel and try new restaurants. I also enjoy going to sporting events, especially the Rockies, and spending time outside. Since moving back to Colorado, I am excited to take advantage of this beautiful state we live in.
Favorite Starbucks Drink:
Caramel Macchiato (hot or cold) with almond milk.
About My Classroom:
I am excited to work with children and help them discover a love of math in a safe and nurturing learning environment.
